Extreme Make Overs

#1 Post by nahky »

Did anyone catch the episode of Extreme Makeover aired on ABC on the 14th of April?

I live in australia so im guessing it wasnt broadcasted here.
I found out that the girl they were working on had an underbite and they showed the surgery on television.Apparently they didnt show all the gory parts but enough to get the jist of it. And they also left editted out the painful recovery from the surgery as well.

This link has pics of her (if u click on the picure) transformation, she looks ace

I just thought that it was pretty awesome that this surgery was being shown on television for the first time. I hope i can get to see this footage soon.

more anxious than ever for time of the surgery now

Wow - what an amazing transformation!! - Can you imagine her going to an High School Reunion, probably not even her best school friend at the time, would believe it was the same woman.

There are some very amazing transformations that occur with surgery. If patients would understand how dramatic it can be, they would be more likely to pursue it as an option. This one is fantastic.

I would have liked to see an after picture of her without all that make-up pasted on. (And/or a before picture with hair cut and make-up.)

Those differences in make-up distract from the changes in the teeth.
Metal braces from March 24, 2005 until July 30, 2007. Estimate was 18-24 months, but I had them for 28 months.

i think its pretty clear that she would still look heaps heaps better without make up and her hair done up.

heres a pic of her if no one has seen it

that underbite made her look like she had down syndrome
apart from that, every else about her looks virtually the same, except she had make up on and her braces are gone.

I could be wrong, but I believe what makes the most significant change is those DaVinci veneers!!!They can do miracles, in fact that was an option as a shortcut to my Crossbite, openbite and narrow upper jaw.
