Hi Everyone,
Im looking for some reassurance that I'm not oddly tired at the moment!? I had SARPE and 4 wisdom teeth removal 7 days ago under a general anesthetic (day surgery so was out the same day) I'm off work until Monday, but Im still really tired, a quick trip to the Doctors this morning (10 min walk there and back) and then a trip in the car as a passenger for a couple of hours this afternoon and Im so tired! I cant really imagine going in to work on Monday?! Oh, Im off the strong pain meds, Im just taking tylenol now...
I'm so tired! (Is this odd?)

I think this is normal...I got tired quite easily for the first couple of weeks post-op.
Did your surgeon say anything about abnormal blood loss? That can bring down your blood count and hemoglobin level, which absolutely will make you feel exhausted with the smallest amount of physical activity.
I'd give it another week and then if you still feel this way check in with your primary doctor.
Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply! I'll give it another week before I start to panic!

yeah, I had surgery nearly a month ago (November 8th) and I am still pretty tired. haha. Then again... I'm a grad student and I skip meals like crazy and am always super, super busy... so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm not too sure. One of my teachers told me that it normal to experience symptoms from going under G.A. for even a few months after having a surgery. Remember that your bones are healing and your body has gone through a lot, even though it may not feel like it. Craving a little extra rest is normal... Don't panic!
