April 6th Surgery date - (pre-op pics)

Hi all,

I just got a surgery date for April 6th. As of now I have had top and lower ceramic braces on for about 3 months. I think I got lucky with only about 6 months pre-orthodontic treatment.

My oral surgeon thinks I may only need lower jaw surgery to close the 5mm open bite and 2mm cross bite but treatment planning starts mid-march.

Yes, sounds like you did get lucky! My surgery is in May and I will have been in braces for 1 year by then. And I had really straight teeth to start with! Good luck and I can't wait to hear how things go!
