Help! Need great surgeon in L.A. area that takes insurance?!

I'm really stressed... I would love to find a great, reputable maxillofacial surgeon in the greater Los Angeles area who takes insurance. I'm even willing to switch insurances during open enrollment next month! Currently I have Blue Shield HMO & my doctor put in a referral that got me a local jaw surgeon named Raffi Margossian. He's very nice & he's got a plan in place for me but I'm VERY scared. My case is very complex & I'm nervous since he hadn't been able to tell me about any other patient he's done with this type of case before 
But at the same time, the surgeons I've called that have bigger names (Arnett, Gustafson, Moy) all require I pay out of pocket & then POSSIBLY be reimbursed. Who has that kind of money? We certainly don't. I don't want to have a botched result that leaves me with problems or that I need redone. Please, anyone... ANY help is appreciated!
Oh & I should add... I have a severe underbite, cross bite, and open bite where only two molars touch in the back. I need my upper jaw widened, lower jaw pulled back, the whole 9 yards. I currently have a TAD in the roof of my mouth. Sorry I don't know more technical terms. I'm really new to this board & all of this. Thank you!
