hi .... first of all i'm new here i like your forum and i like to be a part of it ,,,
and now let's cut of to the chase :
I'm 21 year old female ,,, I've had breathing difficulties since i was a kid , my sleep apnea caused me to reach my adulthood with narrow arches , as i grew up with this sleep apnea i developed crowding , an open bite with a class 2 occlusion , excessive gingival display and mostly annoying a long face appearance ,,,
my profile and my entire face is convex and looks long and narrow ,,, my chin is receded ,,, my cheeks seems to some kind drooping down !!
my question is what is the least invasive treatment options should i have to have 1- a perfect smile
2- a more rounded facial appearance
so far i've thought about having orthodontic bands with extraction of premolars to correct the overbite and the crowding ,,, but I'm wondering ,,, as i have VME ( vertical maxillary excess ) and my teeth show too much under mu lip line ( if you know what i mean ) ,,, is it possible with orthodontic means only to move my teeth apically and fix this ??
and as mentioned earlier my chin is receded , will the correction of the class 2 occlusion solve this problem or should i get an implant ?
and as i have narrow arches that caused my face to be narrow ,, could i by means of palatal expansion in adults enlarge my arches ? and if i did will it make my face look any how rounder ??
and if palatal expansion did not improve my face , is there any thing out there that will make my face look round ?? I've heard that zygomaticus implants help treat the long face syndrome ,,, but i'm trying out to have a surgery-free treatment as I'm terrified of surgeries ,,, so is there any other non-invasive option to make my face round ??
and above of all of that i need a nose surgery to treat sleep apnea ,,, should i do it before or after orthodontic issues ??
thankfully I'm beautiful , but i wanna fix those problems i have to reach the optimum of what god has created in me ,,, can you please help
