double jaw surgery on 31st october :) anyone else?

everyone i have just joined this site i will be having double surgery in scotland im not 100% sure of what the proper plan is yet seeing my surgeon on tuesday to find out. i have had my braces for just over two years and cant wait to get it over with.

has anyone else had this surgery then had to look after a 3 year old? if so how did it go? my husband will be taking around 2 weeks off work im just worried about my little one banging in to my face and also her reaction to my swollen face.

does anyone have any high calorie liquid recipes to share?

I read that wrong. I thought you were taking two weeks off. Two weeks for your caretaker should be plenty.

I'll be honest with you; when I came home the kids were a little freaked out by my appearance. My horrible mood didn't help much either...

But they love you and will soon get past that. Mine did.
