8 Weeks post double jaw surgery, still swollen

Long story short, I have got jaw surgery to correct an open bite and jaw assymetry - my chin was 5 mm out of position.
8 weeks post op, I am still swollen. Is this normal, how long does it take for the swelling to go down?
