38yr old Mum to 3 (2 teens and a preppie) living in paradise with her man. BSSO surgery approx late April 2014!

Ha! I bought something similar for my eyes. Not sure if it helped exactly, but it sure felt nice.
I had seven extractions done at one time. However, the doctor's advice was to apply a cold ice pack in intervals during the first 24 hours after surgery (they don't do a whole lot after that) and then waiting about 48 hours to use heat to bring the swelling down. Heat will get the blood going again, but you don't want to do it too soon bc it would disrupt the blood clot.
