Sliding genioplasty Sept 2011 - now have pain in chin

I know I should call my surgeon but he's 3 hours away in another city so whilst I get something sorted with his receptionist, I just wondered if anyone has experienced pain in their chin 2.5 years after a sliding genioplasty? It's a weird tight/painful feeling on the bottom-left of my chin. I'm concerned something has come loose but I can't feel anything thankfully. Or an infection possibly but I have no swelling or fever. Had this pain for about a week now but it seems to be getting progressively worse! Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jo
