I am having my surgery in Kaiser Oakland and I heard the most experienced and best doctor is
Dr. Felice O'ryan, unfortunately there's a HUGE wait line, having the 1st consultation would take 2 months!
They gave me Dr. heshaam fallah as he was available.
I don't know how to ask him about his credentials, how long he has performed surgeries, etc
I am nervous, afraid and shy as I don't want to offend him or cause a bad impression.
Does anyone have experience having surgery with him?
if not, how do you go about your first consultation and what questions did you ask?

1st consult taking two months isn't that far out of line for a busy practice. Things should progress quicker after that. And you can always go to another surgeon if he says that surgery will take many more months to schedule.
I'd wait for the doctor you prefer.

Agree with Sirwired.
If you do go to this new guy, just ask straight up! Tell it like it is! If he's worth his salt, he can take it, and he should know that patients need to feel comfortable, and this is how they go about doing so. Does he have an online bio you can read? Start with that, but ask away.

There is a girl with a severe gummy smile, put that name in the search bar on youtube, she had surgery with Dr.Fallah I believe and her results were quite good.
Be careful and good luck

He is AMAZING! He does the seemingly impossible. I was born with a severe underbite and cleft palate. I had a large LeFort 3 surgery done when I was 18. The results were less than desirable. Fast forward 25 years. I had a SARPE done with Dr. Poor. He retired before doing my second jaw surgery and handed me over to Dr. Fallah. Like you, I was extremely nervous. But Dr. Fallah has this unusually confident air, you just feel like nothing could go wrong under his care. He was able to fix my gummy bite with only a LeFort 1 and no BSSO (I was adamantly against BSSO). He also brought my upper jaw forward to align properly with my lower teeth. I lost no sensation in my face, which was my biggest worry. I lost sensation in the roof of my mouth, but that has come back now. I have the most beautiful, perfect teeth and jaws now. I never expected it. I can't sing Dr. Fallah's praises enough.
