Asymmetry need help

#1 Post by Shmulikon »

Hello to everyone I am new here.
I have a discrepancy in wide on the lower and upper jaw and teeth and asymmetry.
I read a bit about msdo and sarpe and wanted to get the opinion of you guys and if anyone has gone through this procedure before. I am from israel and nobody does this procedure here.
If anyone can help me and direct me to right surgeon it would be much appreciated.

I had SARPE surgery to expand my palate, was a piece of cake to be honest. I was in and out of the hospital. It's a fairly "easy" and common procedure.

Hi buddy
I am looking for someone who did msdo(lower jaw expansion).
If there is I would appreciate it if he will refer me to a surgeon.

Step one is to find an orthodontist that works with adult patients and performs surgical referrals. Most cases can be solved without the need to expand the mandible. (MSDO is uncommon, more invasive than the other common orthognathic operations, and usually unnecessary.)
