Palate fusing again after SARPE

Hi I've been in braces for 3 months now and had SARPE 1 month ago! I finished turning my expander on Friday exactly how my orthodontist told me to. I don't go and see him for another 8 days, what happens if I end up needing more turns? Will my palate have fused back in that time of will I still be able to turn if I need to. I have turned exactly how many times my orthodontist has said to but I'm just a little anxious...I have called and they don't want to see me any sooner...just looking for some reassurance!!
