How long do you see surgeons for after surgery?

I saw a post on here that said they saw their surgeons up to 2 years post op, is this generally needed or is somewhere around 8 months post op fine?

8 mos is fine. I saw my surgeon 2 years post-op, but that was because I had some follow-on concerns that I wanted to discuss with her.

I think it depends on your evolution. My surgeon said at a minimum 3 months.
