Help! I can't do my elastics!

I am supposed to put on three elastics on each side once a day - week three onwards of jaw surgery.

I made my first attempts today. I could barely get 1 triangle and box on each side, but I can't get the second box on either side.

Any tips on how to get back there? Got someone else to attempt it, too, and he couldn't do it either.

Frustrated.

Ask your surgeon for one of the handy dandy tools to do it with. I had the same issue at first, but my surgeon happily gave me the tool to do it easily.
