AHHH....Don't stress people...Just get this done! First few days where rough, but now I'm good. Make sure you get good pain meds that work for you and talk to your doctor about that before hand.

Well... I haven't had this surgery but I've read enough to be able to answer your question based on what I know
Swelling & depression are both completely normal and temporary. That's why doctors advise that somebody be with you during the first few days so they can keep your spirits up during this depression.
Most of the swelling should go away within 1-2 weeks but some very small swelling won't be gone for a few months.
