I had twin blocks too and i hated them, totally hated. I was about 10 and after they had done all they could with twin blocks the option was either a fixed brace or ending the treatment. I was horrified at the thought of fixed braces (even though i had never really seen them properly) and decided to stop my treatment not understanding the complications this would create.

At 16 i decided i wanted something done about my overbite and overject and 2 years later treatment began and i am now in fixed braces (upper and lower) and surgery was being considered although it looks likely i will not need it.

In conclusion twin blocks are pure torture.
