First bad appt in a while, now worried about pain
My ortho has two offices, and I've been going to the closer location. I thought Fri appt would be no different, but here the band on my bottom, right molar was loose -- of course it would be the only crown I have. When the hygienist and ortho tried to fit a new band, they chose a "skinnier" one, so it does not go completely down the tooth; it's right in the middle. I could feel the sharpness of the bottom edge already. I asked her about pushing it down or smoothing it out (I honestly thought she'd push the edges in ). No can do. Even the best ortho's techs will make mistakes when they are busy and stressed - try not to worry too much about it. I would go in for a earlier appt. time @ the beginning of the week before they are tired
