braces and mixed martial arts

Hello everyone, Im getting braces next week and was just wandering how well a mouth piece helps protecting your braces? Besides that I'm pretty excited aboiut getting my teeth straightend, I'm going in two days to get 4 teeth pulled, not to crazy about that.

Not sure about the mouthguard, but don't worry about the extractions- they'll be easier than you think! Are they wisdom teeth or bicuspids or what? If its under local, the worst part about the procedure is the injections! Take an iPod or something to listen to to help disctract you. If you're super nervous, ask for some kind of valium or xanax pre-med to take an hour or so before to calm your nerves! Good luck!

I got the 4 teeth pulled, was not a big deal they where the first bicuspids left and right and top and bottom. Im going tommorow april 28 to get the braces on, who thought I would get braces on at 35 years old.
