Metal Mouth Message Board

I've had three consults so far with some more this week and next week. I'm bargain shopping and documenting the whole thing along with my impressions of each office. One thing that doesn't get discussed enough is the cost of braces (other than some general strategies for minimizing it) and I'm a cheapskate so I'm calling, emailing and visiting offices on a quest to save as much as possible without sacrificing quality of treatment.
Read on before I give it all away in my intro.

I've got an appointment for records on the 2nd of August and that seems SO FAR AWAY! I'm going to Austin Modern Dentistry. I picked them after four consultations, numerous phone calls and endless emails. I think I actually managed to find the best price for braces in the whole city and I totally trust my orthodontist.
