New Invisaligner - 20 Trays!

#1 Post by creativegoddess »

Hey folks!

I've been reading your posts last evening and this morning and just want to say thanks! I've learned quite a bit while contemplating if I've done the right thing.

I had my first trays inserted yesterday and was feeling a bit claustrophobic  with these darn things hinged inside my mouth. Today is a bit better. Most say acclimation is ~3 days to a week, so I'm hoping my winey evil self is put to rest soon.

Also, by reading your posts, I'm pretty darn lucky -only 20 trays. However, my ortho tells me that I should probably count on a year due to tweaking. Any ideas what he might mean by that?

Also, I decided to blog my experience: http://ecstewart.blogspot.com

Again, thanks for all the good banter -it's indeed helpful!

Bleeding?

#2 Post by creativegoddess »

It's my third day and have discovered when brushing my teeth after breakfast, that I'm bleeding in 2 spots: one where the tooth hurt yesterday and one in an upper molar that doesn't seem to be affected by the alignment.

Anyone have these issues?

I'm thinking I'll go out and buy some Ambosol today, regardless.

Still dealing with the claustrophobia issue. Bleck!

Pimp My Teeth sounds more like product placement. As soon as you smile, revealing a tooth, a camera zooms in and shows, "This molar sponsored by Virgin Mobile." 8)

I'd want to have my teeth glow that wonderful purple with gold metal chains, too!
