Alcohol?

Hi!
I am an active 23 year old that is going to embark on my invisalign experience too. I just wanted to know your thoughts on drinking alcohol with the aligners in. I know some people only drink water with them in, which is pretty much all I drink, however on nights I go out, to a bar or whatever, I would rather keep the trays in just bc I will be gone for such an extended time period (ie 3, 4 hours, even longer sometimes). Is it okay to drink liquor with a straw, such as with a cranberry/vodka or malibu baybreeze (my favorite and drinks I drink most often)? Just curious to see what people have to say about the liquor thing, since I've seen posts about beer and wine.

Thank you for your advice...so you would suggest keep the aligners in then? If I drink with a straw, will that stain the aligners?

Recently I was in a wedding and did not want to leave my aligners out for a very long time, so I kept them in while drinking...I drank everything from cranberry juice and vodka, to champagne, to beer....I just made to rinse and brush really really well before bed that night. I dont think once in a while will really hurt.
