OMG!!! How freakin long does it take?

OMG!!! How freakin long does it take?

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fustrated right now!

I STILL DON'T HAVE MY REFINEMENTS!!!!!!!

Background:
Supposed to have 13 uppers & 19 lowers
Currently on 13 of 13 top and 14 of 19 at top

The top finished back in Sept? but they still aren't *totally* straight...need a bit of adjustment. But, I kinda knew that so no biggie.

The bottoms stopped fitting near the end of Sept so doc did molds again and sent off for new aligners. I'm quite fustrated b/c treatment was supposed to end in December but now, who knows how long it will take...and how many more aligners will be added to my treatment? I guess I'm just fustrated with waiting so long and no action....been wearing the same aligners for a LONG time now (yuck!).

I'm not sure, but I think I went to doc's office on 10/2...approx. 2 months...I called the doc twice just to see what's up but she's not returning phone calls (wtf? is up with that?)

Anyone have any suggestions...thoughts?

sorry about your frustration, fabfemme. i'd be pissed if my doc wasn't communicating with me. after all, we are paying these people a s@#$load of money!!!

i know this doesn't help your situation, but my refinement only took a few weeks to come in. my advice is to keep harassing your doc until you get an answer.

This does sound rediculous :!:

Would it be convenient to make an appt. and go in and see her?

OR just drop in and demand to talk to her?

How frustrating for you, I wish you loads of luck with this!!!!!

really surprised she isn't calling me back...all i got was message from receptionist saying "she'll call you when they arrive"...and i'm sitting there thinking, yeah, i KNOW that...but WHEN will they arrive???????????????

ugh, i dont' know if i'm being impatient or if this is just TOO long to be waiting

either way your doc isn't giving you the attention you need. i'd be pissed if i were you. in my opinion, you're waiting way too long. i'm in canada and my first aligners and my refinement came very quick. i was shocked at how quick they came. and, my ortho is a very busy guy. that's even with multiple rejections/modifications to the aligners from my ortho.
