Second tray of my upper feels wrong...

#1 Post by SharonD »

I just put in my 2nd set and something just feels wrong about the upper right side. It's like it isn't fully on the back molar. I can't get it to stay on completely. If I give it a little push, I can hear it pop as though it's going on but it pops back after I let go. I'm not sure what to do...should I leave it on and see if it fits after the teeth have had a chance to shift overnight? My orthodontist isn't in the office now since it's after 6:00. I think I'll leave them in, but I'd like to know if anyone else has had a problem like this with a new tray. I'm hoping that it's not a problem and just that the teeth need to shift.

Thanks for the response. It feels as though mine did settle overnight, so I feel a little better about it. I'm just not looking forward to removing these for breakfast this morning! Wow, are they tight!

saw the vid..very cool.

got attachments about 2 trays ago...harder to take them out so i changed to using 1 finger and prying them off at the back molar instead of the two handed way you use. just a bit easier with the speed bumps.

Avl, are the attachments noticeable at all? I'm a little nervous since I'll be getting one on the tooth next to the front tooth. My orthodontist said that that I may be able to see it.

I have a bump on each tooth next to my top front teeth. They are semi noticiable, but only if people are really close to your face. Noone but my boyfriend really notices them, but then again, he is the only one ever close to my mouth. I was worried the first few days that they were very visable, but gradually I forgot about them as people dont even notice :)

ive got 6 total...3 top and bottom all near the front. can you see them?..YOU can but other people tell me they cant see them till i show them..my buddies are b@ll busters so im sure they would tell me the truth. i really noticed them the first two days but now not so much. and you can really see them when your trays are out. when they are in they are kinda less " in your face " for lack of a better term.

the worst part is im always nervous about one coming off..i have one nest to a capped tooth and i freaks me out when i hear the ' ripping and popping ' as the tray pops off a bump.
