time between clincheck and aligners
It took me 3 weeks to get my clincheck after my impressions and 1 week to view them for a total of 1 month. Now that I had my clincheck, I was wundering how much time does it take to get the aligners after the clincheck?
I am from Canada too.
Impressions until the clincheck came in: 7 days
Once I verified the clincheck until the aligners came in: 6 days
Mine was very fast, I was expecting 2 weeks for the aligners to come in(that is what my orthodontist said to expect). It was a pleasant surprise to get them a over a week earlier.

The dental hygenist told me it would take 2 months to get my aligners in after the Clincheck. I questioned her again and she said 2 months so she put me down two months from my Clincheck for my appointment to get the aligners. I don't think she knows what she is talking about. I think I am going to call back and talk to someone else in the office and ask them. No where have I seen where it takes that long. On my Clinchcheck we did make a change to do an IPR to close the black triangle on the front two teeth. Does anyone think that that might have anything to do with the delay in getting them back?

Well I just thuoght Id post again on this subject because I'am still waiting. Invisalign havent made my aligners yet because my ortho. didnt give the "GO" to invisalign for them to make the aligners. I have an apointment tomorrow to get a cleaning and I might not be as nice as I usualy am. He wont call invisalign until my check up is made just incase theres something to do and might need reimpressions. Iam getting sick of them and thuoght it might go faster if I change ortho. I have had my first consultation in january and Im still not under treatment and might not be until what another month maybe ?
Has anybody had this much trouble with there ortho. ?

mine took over 3 months!
My dentist said they were held up at the border, but I'm not 100% sure if that was the real reason or not!! It felt like such a waste of time for my treatment and I was really frustrated! I've had them now for a few months though, and I seem to be back on track. I hope yours don't take that long!
Re: mine took over 3 months!
I got my impressions about the 10th of March I think, the dentist office gave me a call on the 29th of April to advise me that the aligners had just arrived. I was busy with work all week so have booked it for 6:30 this evening. Looking forward to getting this all started.
Being in aussie land mine should take longer that most people on here (us & canada), not sure about the UK though.
I wasn’t aware until I came on these forums that some people got to see their clincheck & give the go ahead. Im not worried about t hat though as I am really happy with my dentist & have found him to be extremely competent - it just sucks cause Im really keen to find out how many aligners I’ll be getting.
so all up for me its close to 2 months almost, but i've had a fair bit to keep me busy so time has gone quite quick.

I don't know why people don't look at the clincheck before approving it and why the doctors don't want to show it. If I hadn't looked at mine there would have been a major problem. The upper and lower jaws were not aligned correctly on the clincheck at the beginning, and if we went with that first clincheck I would have ended up with an underbite. If I hadn't spotted it and spoke up it would have been a disaster. He got the clincheck corrected and I came in and checked and approved it a week or two later.aussie wrote:I wasn’t aware until I came on these forums that some people got to see their clincheck & give the go ahead. I saw my ortho. today and they want to repaire some things and want to charge me 1,900$ before the invisalign and retake impressions after. I will reget my impressions in mid June. And they want to charge me for some ortho. sheck up (again) and will cost another 300$, sounds like a rip off. I will (maybe) get my invisalign treatment maybe in first week of july? first cunsoltation was in January. Thats stupid.
