I check out my ClinCheck obsessively, and assuming it's accurate, I'm happy with the actual tooth-positioning and straightness of everything, but my gumline will look a little off, as well as the length of certain teeth. I'm concerned that even with my $6000 straight-as-an-arrow teeth, my smile will still look crooked because of the length issue. Nothing will be perfectly symmetrical.

So what happens after treatment? I know this will vary greatly per orthodontist, but I'd like to hear from others. Did your orthodontist provide free tooth and gum recontouring? Anything at all? If so, did it help achieve the result you were looking for?

OMG I'll never forget going to the ortho absolutely sick cause my teeth were SO uneven....it's amazing what a little reshaping can do. It was painless, (and I'm a wimp.) The young ortho in the office actually did it before I was even in refinements. I've been through gum surgery so I wouldnt recomend it if you were doing it purely for cosmetic purposes.
