I've been doing Invisalign exactly 3 weeks today, on my second tray. Lately, I've noticed that my tongue has been feeling very raw. When I look at it the mirror, I see grooves running down the middle. I've developed the habit right after eating of trying to clean my attachments with my tongue (probably not the most attractive thing at the dining table). My attachments are pretty sharp. Are everyone's attachments sharp? I wonder if my dentist can smooth them a bit.
On the positive side, I've already seen improvement in my canine teeth. One of my canines has always stuck out and looked like a squared-off corner at the edge of my smile. The dentist shaved a little bit off that tooth before my first tray, and the tooth is now much more tucked into my other teeth. Yah!
