When I take out the alligners my teeth don't fit properly together and my jaw aches.
I also had some filling down of a tooth to allow movement but I think he nicked my gum and its still really sore, I can't eat on that side still. Could it be that or is the tooth aching because its moving? When I push the tooth with my finger it hurts.
Does it really matter if you don't brush your teeth straightaway after eating? How much damage to your teeth can really occur in a couple of hours?
My clinicheck shows that i'll have a gap (I think they are termed black triangles) in my front teeth - anyone elses video shown that?
Well thats my concerns........so far...........
As a tooth obsessive i'm sure they'll be many more. I'm dead worried this isn't going to work.
I doubt they moved so far in just 4 days that your teeth don't fit together. Could it be that you just notice that they don't fit together well since your teeth are painful?
I think it's normal for you teeth to hurt pretty bad, especially on your first set of aligners.
i agree, i could feel my teeth moved pretty fast after first few days. When i took them out to eat i also felt my teeth dont fit together anymore. But i knew that is just the sign they are moving. I am on my 2nd set now but havent noticed any more movement yet.
I found my teeth hurt like crazy the first time I put the aligners on. Pain will stay for 2-3 days. After that, the pain is pretty much gone. I used to be militant when it came to brushing my teeth after lunch. I've since pretty much slacked off. I don't eat sugary foods and only drink water through out the day. I brush when I get home. My dentist said my teeth were fine. I'm sure others have different experiences and opinions.
The aligners change the way your jaw comes together so it can be weird and feel wrong if you take the aligners off. It usually goes away after a few hours (if you have them out too long!) and isn't to do with tooth movement this soon.
