One of my front teeth is pretty twisted looking, it looks like it rotated at 45 degree angle, it really bothers me. My parents didn't have the money to do it for me when i was a kid, their excuse is "it's not that bad". I am 26 now.
when i get my teeth straighten out, will it stay straighten forever??
I have been wanting to try out invisalign. Does anyone know of a good reputable Doctor in Southern Maine area. It will be best if they offer free consultation as well.
thank you.
I am going to get it, anywhere w free consultations in Maine

Invisalign has a doctor locator on their web site. You can enter your zip code and find a list of providers including those with advanced certifications. I would suggest seeing an orthodontist rather than a dentist because they can discuss a wider range of options for you as well as your qualification for Invisalign.
Other resources for recommendations can include your regular dentist or friends who had ortho work as teenagers - you can see how their treatment has done after a few years. I would also suggest having a different doctor from your regular dentist do the ortho so there are some cross-checks during and after treatment (I personally had a bad experience with a family dentist doing ortho work in the past).
Keeping teeth straight forever is a challenge you need to discuss during your consultation. Adult teeth move around even late in life - look at the lower teeth of most any 60 year old. It's a good idea to have a follow-up plan to catch any unwanted movement while it can be handled as a minor problem (more personal experience!)
Most orthos - at least around here - do free consultations. If you find a doctor is charging for this when you call to set up an appointment, it will be a good idea to call around to see if this is the case for others.
Good luck
