I had my impressions done today for refinements after finishing 26 upper and 14 lower aligners. I'm happy so far with the results, hopefully I won't need too many new aligners. Here's some pics at the beginning of my treatment. I'll post some as my teeth are today afterwards...

Thanks kezza and KUmonkeymomma! The photos make them look better than they do in real life. My lateral incisor that stuck out really bad (aka my snaggle tooth) still needs to be pulled in a tiny bit and my bite still needs a little fixing.
My ortho reckons I'll have maybe 5 or 6 more aligners. He did some shaving on them yesterday as well and they looked 10 times better after. Feels so strange having no attachments anymore - my teeth feel super smooth! Can't wait to finish for good now

Wow your teeth look amazing I wish mine looked like that ive finished mine and am awaiting refinements been waiting 12 weeks on wednesday and still no sign. My second tooth in is still not right am not happy with mine at all. Good luck with yours there amazing
Thanks so much Ems. Sorry to hear you're not happy with yours so far, hopefully your refinements go well. 12 weeks is a really long time to wait. My ortho told me that the wait for refinements would actually be shorter than the wait for the original trays so it does seem unusual you've been waiting so long. Good luck with them when they do arrive

So I went back to my ortho yesterday for my refinements. Delighted to find out I only have 4 more upper and 5 more lower sets.
Only have two attachments as well (I had 8 in my initial treatment). So happy it's not too many new aligners to get through
Only 10 weeks to go, I can't wait!
