Hi Gloria, I am having a root canal next Thursday on my lateral incisor. Im on tray 15/23. I have had a root canal on another tooth before I started invisalign and I was in a lot of pain for a few days. Just wondering how the pain was after your root canal and having to keep wearing the trays?? The specialist has said that it is ok for me to continue changing trays during the root canal process...which will be done over two appointments, 6 weeks apart.

I cut out the last two teeth on the top tray; my dentist said that those two teeth will not move & are not needed. So far so good.
The pain from the root canal only lasted about three days.
Good luck! :D

I'm 52 and getting my teeth straightened for the second time (first time 35 years ago with braces). My "age" question to my orthodontist had to do with whether it would be more difficult to move my teeth due to age, but he said that he has a patient in her 80s who is doing great. So who's too old to get Invisalign??? :D

You're as young as you feel!
