Help! teeth shifted after attachments off?

Ugh, I'm so worried.

I just finished invisalign and my ortho made a plastic retainer from a mold of my teeth, so clearly this should retain them, right?

He said the retainer should fit tighter than my last tray, but it doesn't. It's not falling out, but it's not tighter. He looked at it and said it fits well.

Well, I just put in my last tray by mistake instead of the retainer (habit) and not only is the last tray much tighter, it feels like it did when I had the tray out a bit too long.

I'm a nervous wreck because after all of this time (years) and money spent (lots) I just can't have this all go south on me....

I don't know what to do. I don't want to be the annoying, paranoid patient...but I feel that something is wrong? I'm wearing this last tray all weekend. How can the retainer not fit as well?

Tell him your not happy with how it fits and if you think it doesn't look right then wear your last tray and request a new retainer.
