My husband is a snorer...he had a custom made snore guard that he wore for a while and it worked really well. He is on Tray #2 (about 3 weeks in) with Invisalign and can no longer wear his snore guard...he actually cannot even fit it into his mouth anymore, it will not fit - talk about a lot of subtle movement quickly! Anyway, I have been going nuts with the snoring. We called our ortho who said there was nothing that could be done but when my husband got his elastics, it may help (I guess by acting like his original snore guard did). After 3 weeks of him on the couch we decided to call our dentist who set us up with the original snore guard. He told us to give him a few days and he would call us back...well he did and we are on day 2 of the solution he came up with. It is called AVEOTSD. Our dentist apparently talked with our ortho who approved the device for Invisalign (not sure about other braces - like I have) but we were eager to try it out. NO SNORING! It is a weird device and my hubby's tongue hurts like hell he says lol, but I felt it was a solution worth posting because it is a HUGE help. It was cheap (compared to the snore guard) and I just felt that other Invisalign and brace users may want to know that there is a snore solution once they get their braces...

Re: Snoring/Snore Guard & Invisalign
Just a suggestion....and one that nobody wants to hear, but....
Have you considered getting a sleep study done for sleep apnea?
My husband was an awful snorer. Much to his horror, he discovered that he had severe obstructive sleep apnea, and his oxygen level was dropping during the night. Over time this could have killed him (oxygen deprivation causing heart problems, and problems with other major organs).
Nobody wants to wear a CPAP mask, but it could save your life or extend your life.
Not all snorers have sleep apnea. And not all people with sleep apnea snore. But you'll never know whether you have it unless you get a proper sleep study.
BTW, my husband does not snore at all anymore.

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

There are also much better surgical procedures for SA if one has certain conditions, no longer needed a traq. Have him checked out and get on with a better life.
Re: Snoring/Snore Guard & Invisalign
Yeah, thanks for the suggestions....he has had a severe change in his bite over the past 2 years which has caused snoring - hence why we are getting him braces. He was never a snorer - but his bite has changed dramatically in a short period, and this is what his Dr and dentist think is causing the issue....nonetheless I just thought this device was pretty cool for occasional snorers that had snore guards or something similar and can no longer wear them because of their braces...
