I had my latest ortho visit today and things went much better than expected. There was a definitely problem with my lower attachments not gripping correctly and it was easily addressed by removing the attachment and putting on a new one using my last aligner tray. The "R" word (refinement) was never mentioned. I also showed him the 2008 Journal of Clinical Orthodontics article on Deep Overbite treatment and he confirmed that is what we are doing. Since this is a new procedure, I'll put the details on the thread I started on Invisalign for Deep Overbites.

This is my third encounter with an orthodontist, so I find myself being skeptical and uneasy when things don't seem to be going well. I did have a list of questions based on things I've read on this board. My ortho seems to like the fact I am bringing this stuff in and always makes the time to discuss any concerns. At this point, I'm feeling a lot better about how things are progressing.

I'm really pleased that it went well Wireless. Having an ortho that you can discuss your concerns with, makes all the difference doesn't it? :)

1st refinement: 14 upper / 10 lower
