thanks so much guys! i AGAIN today (day 3 of invis) had a "get this sh*t off my teeth!" moment. but i will say with each day i THINK it's getting better.
my problem is i cant stop thinking about them, running my tongue over them, just fidgeting with them in my mouth -- im trying REALLY hard to stop. but it just feels so foreign....also my mouth is getting kind of cut (like my cheeks)
as for drinking my doc said as long as no sugar in drink im fine -- i'm a vodka & soda girl anyway and dirty martinis so im going to just keep them in when i drink that....
i can't imagine the day i look forward to having them in my mouth -- i am SO excited for that day
2 days in with invisalign!

Your total time per day comes out to about 2 hours and 20 minutes then? I don't think that's too long. I'd say I'm about the same.
I'm getting used to the feeling of them in my mouth, but I'm still really self conscious about my speech and how I look when I talk. I have a small mouth, and it's really obvious that there is something in my mouth, even when it's closed.
How do people eat with them in? The plastic gives and is dull, not like real teeth, so how do you chew?

I have mine out for about 3 hours a day - as a rule, sometimes only 2 if I skip a meal or just grab a quick snack in place of a meal if i'm in a rush, etc. That's out for bfast, lunch, dinner and one or two snacks.
I had issues in the beginning with making my cheeks/inside of lips sore, etc but it really does get better within a few days.
I still have some excess saliva issues but not nearly as bad as I did the first 2-3 weeks. Still some speech stuff too but I think that is more from the excess saliva and consciously trying not to spit or stopping to suck the spit out of the trays, etc. People say they don't notice it though, so it's probably just me thinking it sounds bad still LOL.
I have an overbite so my mouth has never really closed all the way - so I think mine are more visable (altho no one has noticed or commented on them - and most say they didn't notice until I told them I had them), so I always feel like it looks worse or funny when I talk, etc with them in - but again no one has said anything so it's probably just me being self conscious.
It definitely gets better/easier as time goes on and your mouth gets used to them. I still have days that I really notice them and "fidget" with them like you said - but those days are less as time goes on.
