cost

#46 Post by JPs »

I had to pay $5800 BEFORE they ordered them. They told me my satisfaction was guaranteed and they'd do it until I was satisfied. Also I'd be given whitening stuff to use in my trays at the end. Refinements were never mentioned - I learned about them reading websites, but I am assuming that's what they meant by doing treatment until I was satisfied. BTW - what's IPR?

$ 6,000.00 here in CA. My insurance paid $ 1000.00 up front. My orthodonist is letting me use my flex spending from work - so I paid some in 2008 & will pay off the balance in 2009.

This is for 15 months of treatment - all the trays, x-rays, follow up appointments, etc.

Hello,

I've just found this board and registered as I start Invisalign next week (10/02). I'm based in the UK and my treatment is costing £5000. This included the inital consultation, clincheck, 26U/20L trays and any refinements I may need as well. Judging by the other posts, I think this is probably quite expensive, but I really liked the ortho and would rather pay a bit more to get someone who really knows that they're doing.

From my experience, the cost of Invisalign will depend on whether a dentist or orthodontist will be doing it. Orthos usually charge a little (sometimes a lot) more. In addition, if your teeth are really messed up, you may need to be in braces for a short time after Invisalign. Here's a site that seems pretty unbiased. There's information about http://www.bracesquestions.com/static/i ... ign%20Cost here. I think it may help. Good luck!
