What sorts of things would you recommend for travelling overseas for about 2 weeks. I will not be changing aligners in the middle (I should change them about 4 days before we return, but I'd rather wait and my ortho agrees).

I'm looking for suggestions for things that you consider absolutely necessary, and things I would need to carry with me at all times (we tend to leave the hotel in the morning and not return until well after dark). We will be at soccer matches (World Cup!) too, so I don't want to carry any more than is necessary as I will already have my little camera bag, and I suppose my little purse.

I already have: aligners and case; previous set (and maybe next set); little tool to remove the aligners; travel toothpaste & brush. Maybe Efferdent if my ortho agrees when I see her next week.

Any tips or tricks out there? Any odd problems that anyone's run into while travelling with these things?

as to your ? are you bothered about people knowing u wear aligners if not i dont think it will be a problem if you are then u will have to brush in toilet cubicles when out during the day. i manage to do this at work and nobody knows i wear invisilign.

I don't particularly care who knows I have braces...I got Invisalign for convenience in tooth care and to try the new technology. I'm mostly just looking for anything people have found that helps them handle Invisalign (special gadgets, organizational tricks, minimum amount necessary, that sort of thing), especially for trips in Europe (I've been once before, but I didn't have any sort of braces so I'm not sure what might be an issue).

And the term I will be using most is fussball (it's in Germany).

i'll also be backpacking this summer for a month so this was one of my main concerns. because going to rural areas, i dont know how convenient this all would be..
