does anyone else chew "chewies"

My orthodontist gave me bits of colored plastic (like mini tootsie rolls, but made of hard plastic) to chew on while the Invisalign liners are in my mouth. She says this helps tooth movement.

It also seems to help calm down the uncomfortable feeling of pressure with new liners, or after a meal (when they are out for a good hour or more).

I find it almost addictive chewing on the Chewies! do it alot in my car, when I'm alone, as my husband finds the chewing awfully loud!

Does everyone with invisalign use chewies, or just w/ my ortho ?

Thanks,
Tracy

Ive never heard of them.
But I find myself always bitting down on my trays.
It looks like Im chewing on gum or something - but Im just bitting down on the trays.

ooohhhhhhh! I want chewies! :D I find myself biting on my try as well but my bottoms are finished so I feel like Im ruining my teeth and the aligners by biting. I'm gonna ask my dentist about them next week. If hw doesn't have them maybe I can get my own online....
