Hello all,
I am a 1st time poster, but have been reading the posts since April. That is how long I have been waiting for my invisalign to get started. Needless to say, I am still waiting!
This process has been taking so long and It's really frustrating because I just can't wait to get started. I really respect and am completely happy with my ortho, I dont necessarily blame him for this long wait. I did need some pre work done before we could go forth with invisalign such as a new crown and not to mention a root canal! Glad thats over with!
Now here is my question... I visited my dentist about 3 weeks ago and had a 3rd set of records taken!! I'm so sick of going back to do records! They did the 1st set and then I had all my wisdom teeth removed so then they did it a 2nd time and then i needed a new crown and root canal. Now I just had them done a 3rd time and hopefully the last. My ortho isn't sure if invisalign would except my case as is because there is a question that I may need another extraction due to over-crowding on the top.
Has anyone had there invisalign rejected and needed further work done and then they were accepted so it took and additonal 6-8 weeks for trays. I'm so sick of waiting, I just don't want to feel like this is not normal. Im from Massachusettes and am only paying $4500 for everything, so I really shouldnt complain. Any similar experiences.
