invisalign after braces?

I'm having my braces removed after 30 months on monday! My ortho is going to do invisalign to 'tweak' one tooth that has had a little trouble rotating. She says that will probably take a few months. Has anyone switched from traditional braces to invisalign? How is it? Aligners can't be as bad as all this metal, can it?

Nope, so far I have only heard of people doing it the other way!!! And from what I gather, the discomforts of Invisalign are NOTHING like what you go through with regular braces!! So, this should be a breeze for you!

Furthemore, the good thing about what you'll be doing, is that the Invisalign trays will act as excellent retainers for your newly adjusted teeth in the meantime, while that last one comes right.

What tooth are you planning to rotate? There are certain teeth that Invisalign will not likely rotate, especially canines.
