Traveling with Invisalign

#1 Post by braced kiwi girl »

Hey Guys,

I am wondering if I would be able to travel while having Invisalign treatment?? Can you take home more then one fit at a time. could I take a whole treatment and just follow instructions on when to change????

I'm currently wearing ceramics and my teeth are straight with 4 extraction gaps to close. (not planning on switching for another 10 months)

Any info would be great.

Cheers

They give you three aligners at a time and with my ortho if I was going to be traveling and wouldn't be able to see him when I was on the last of the three aligners he would either see me early or give me the next aligner. When air traveling just bring your case and a small toothbrush and toothpaste so you can brush between meals. I traveled a lot when I had Invisalign and I had no problems.

You can definitely travel with invisalign! I get one aligner at a time, and although I haven't had to switch trays while traveling, if I did I would just pick up the next set early and change it on vacation.
