Loose teeth?

#1 Post by SmiingsMyFavorite »

Hi all,

I'm on trays 13 of 32 and I've noticed my bottom teeth - while they look terrific - are starting to get a bit loose. I'm not terribly concerned right now, but wanted to see if this happens (ed) to anyone else..

Thanks!

It's happening to me too!

I asked my dentist about it and she said that my roots are very short, shorter than normal actually. When teeth move around after a certain extent of time, the roots are not ''grounded'' therefore teeth become loose. Until the treatment is completely over, in my case anyway, the teeth will remain so. They will become solid again about a year (at the very most) after the treatment, when the jawline completely recovers from all the ''moving around''. In the meantime, I must absolutely avoid all crunchy foods, even biting into an apple.

Just like I did, you might want to discuss the issue with your dentist. Good luck! :)

I've got 2 crowns and I haven't had any probs, but I also worry about them, they are too $$$$$ to have to replace. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!
