I have been trying to read various posts prior to my starting with the Invisalign treatment. One of the topics that seems concerning to me is the tipping of molars. I am not totally certain what that means, but assume it means that they lean forward into an area of a previous extraction, or larger space. How do you monitor for that, especially since it sounds like some of the ortho docs are not as sensitive to that until it is a major problem?

I just had the molds done one week ago, and I will go back in one more week to get a preliminary upper and lower tray. The ortho assistant said this will give me time to adjust to wearing them when I speak, and also I can use them with whitening gel which they will supply prior to starting with the actual Invisalign trays.

tipping i think only really happens when u have and extraction site and the things to watch out for are, if u put the tray in especially at night and the tray does not quite sit down and keeps popping up do not just think sod it and go to bed like i did i think this was the major factor if i could go back id try the chewy things that u can buy not sure of the name im sure someone on here uses them if u ask, because i believe this would have helped sit the trays down and if the molars do start to tip u will notice bubbles in the tray where the teeth do not fill anymore and if this happens demand the ortho does something about it and does not just say lets carry on and see what happens its a big mistake. one more thing iv just remembered when i had my buttons done on my molars they were a bit sesame id say the were only 1/2 correct i knew straight away but its difficult telling your ortho they have done a sesame job when u r a new patient with little confidence, i hope that fills in a few blanks
