hi everyone! im new here but have been lurking for a little while now hha

quick background.. i had traditional braces for 2.5 years during highschool. my junior year i got my braces off an only wore my retainer at night, then went to college and gave up on the retainer (i regret that now)
i have some shifting at my 4 upper front and 4 lower front teeth.

i went to the my original ortho that i had braces with and he told me i need braces again. duh. he said for about a year id need them

he offered invisalign and the traditional metal ones. he told me that id get a perfect smile with reg braces since invisalign cant do what traditional braces can do but he said id get good results with invisalign. hes the type that prefers traditional braces to invisalgns and linguals, but he knows his stuff.
he has many invisalign patients, so im not worried.
but he told me that he may put braces on for the last 3-4 months to really perfect some things that invisalign is unable to do ( all included in the cost)

i was quoted at 6900 for invisalign (before insurance)

there is also a premiere provider closer to my home but ive never been to them before, what do you think i should do? take the plunge with my old ortho who i trust will give me the best smile that invisalign can give me or try the premiere provider?
