for deep adult overbite?

I just wondered, does anyone have this type of appliance for treatment of deep adult overbite please or is invisalign not 'havy duty' enough for this?
I was offered Invisalign to correct my deepbite, but the ortho told me Invisalign wont corrected my overjet. I went for braces and the ortho later on mentioned that Invisalign wouldnt have been able to fix my deepbite either....I just wondered, does anyone have this type of appliance for treatment of deep adult overbite please or is invisalign not 'havy duty' enough for this?
