Hi everyone I was going to get Linguals but my ortho said because I have impacted teeth that came in through the pallet(sp?) I wold be miserable in linguals.

He suggested that I get regular traditional damon brackets but If I am really concerned with the visibility of this then he could do the first four teeth with invisalign and from the canines over put damon brackets on ( and I am talking about the top not bottom).

Has anyone had a combo like this?

I used a combo, but not in this way. I don't think I can imagine the way you are presenting it.

I wore damon on the lateral teeth for 8 months to solve some serious issues with my bicuspids and molars. Now I wear Invisalign (full) to make the "fine tuning".

Still I kinda regret now not going with Damon all the time. It's not that Invisalign is not nice, but I would have same results at the Damon's price only. Now I pay for both :)
