Finding a good doctor for invisalign

Hi everyone,

I live in New York City, and would like to find a good doctor for my procedure. I tried searching on Invisalign's website for doctors in my region and many come up. On Invisalign's website they categorize them as Premier Provider Elite, Premier Provider, and Invisalign Provider. From another website I found out that the status of Premier Provider Elite is given to fewer than 1% of Invisalign practitioners in North America, and recognizes their exceptional level of case experience and competence. In my region there are 8 doctors with this title. Does anyone know of a good source that I can use to find out a good doctor? Any recommendations? Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Mike

I would expect any of the 8 to give you a reasonable result. In comparison there are no Premier Providers at all where I live, which I would have opted for if possible. Someone may come along on the website who can give a personal recommendation though.

How about booking appointments with 2 or 3, and asking what they recommend and are able to do for your case?

As you have the comfort of a high level of experience with all of them, I would first and foremost see if you think you can get on with them. You could be in braces for more than a year and someone you find easy to speak to and trust is important (IMHO)! You might also want to factor in what their appointment times are like, and how easy it is for you to reach the practice. Perhaps also the general facilities available and how the other people at the practice treat you?

Good luck!
