Last weekend I went away for 4 days. I was running late and don't know how but I managed to forget my aligners!! (I'd taken them out to eat breakfast) and I realised when I got to the airport! So I had them out from Friday morning until Monday night.
I was due to move to the next aligner last night but i've kept these in. I was going to keep them in for an extra 5 days. Do you think thats enough time? I hope I haven't caused to much damage?

4 days is quite a long period, i've only ever had mine out for a full day (not intensional), i experienced no problems with that though.

I called my orthodontist. She told me to wear this aligner for an extra week. bit of a pain because I'm a week behind now but its my own stupid fault for forgetting them in the first place!

yeah I would much rather be back a week than damage my teeth! I really hope I haven't done too much damage. I will be so annoyed with myself if I have! I will be seeing my orthodontist next week so I guess she will be able to look at my teeth and tell me then?
