Hello all
I am a member of the metal mouths with self litigating metal brackets on my bottom teeth. I have class ll elastics that are in place with a button on my top tooth. This pulled my top teeth apart so the ortho had a invisaline tray made to correct the problem. I don't go back for 6 weeks and he said he would look at it then. Most of you talk about changing tray every 2 weeks or so, will a tray last for 6 weeks?

I change my trays every two weeks (most people do) but I only see my dentist every eight weeks for checkups. Maybe your dentist forgot to send you home with the next few trays? I actually had to remind the assistant at my dentist's office that I needed trays when I left.

Merytan, The ortho called it a plastic tray. He took a new mold and had it sent away, I assume, I had to come back the following week. He said it would fix the teeth that were separating from the band and while he was at it he was going to turn them ever so slightly. As my top teeth are/were very straight this would make them perfect.
I am suposed to wear it all the time he said to take it out to eat and drink then brush my teeth and the tray and put it back in. And not to have it out of my mouth for more then a couple of hours a day. Thanks see ya in six weeks.
He tweaked my lower arch wire to pull my front teeth forward. Any clues?
