Hello, Journey started today

#1 Post by bint3gra »

Hello Everyone, I started Invisalign today. I'm from Canada. Doing 36U and 26L I believe. Today I had 4 attachments put in on the top. Lower attachments and tray will start at Upper tray #10. First impression, wow they are no where near as bad as I had anticipated. What's amazing is how fast you adapt to the pressure on your teeth. Once the tray is in, it feels fine within minutes. Once you take them out, that's when you realize how snug they fit. Anyhow, looking forward to documenting my journey and helping new posters along with their journey.

Thanks everyone. Wow, this board is sooo supportive. Well, after 2 days I think I can handle this for 18 months. It's been pretty easy, I can even manage to fit my 6 meals a day (I'm trying to put on 15 lb of bodymass while on this 18 month "makeover"). Is it normal to feel that the aligner is more comfy only after 24hours?? Can your teeth adjust that fast??

Some aligners will be worse than others. Some teeth will hurt on some aligners and other teeth will hurt on other aligners. Everyone is different.
