For those of you who have worn Invisalign during youf prengancy I need your help to figure out what I should do...

I just recently found out I am 4 weeks pregnant with my first baby, however I have a appointment scheduled with my ortho in the next few weeks to take my molds for Invisalign which I am not sure if I should cancel.

My concern is that with this being my first child I don't know what to expect or how my body will react, and with never having worn braces before I really don't know if it is the best choice to do them both at this time.

I am uncertain if I should move forward with Invisalign now, or wait until after the baby is born. :?

Congratulations! :D

Its early days yet - can you leave the decision re Invisalign for a few weeks, perhaps until after you've spoken to your dentist? The reason I suggest speaking to your dentist (rather than ortho) is that the condition of gums often deteriorates during pregnancy and it is vital to keep your mouth healthy whilst you are pregnant. Your dentist will probably have more experience of mouth health during pregnancy than your ortho and should be able to advise accordingly :)
